Trail Description
The Bert Flinn trail is a popular multi-use, forested and relatively flat trail in the northeast corner of Port Moody in area called Pleasantside just at the base of Eagle Mountain. The trail loops around the top of a plateau with horizontal exposure to both the morning and evening sun making this a pleasant and picturesque trail at almost any time of the day. The terrain is a mix of boardwalk, forest floor and gravel.

Expect the Bert Flinn trail to be fairly busy in afternoons and weekends due to it's nearby vicinity to a residential area, accessibility and popularity with the locals. As the trail is often winding around corners, look out for mountain bikers.

In 2019, the Bert Flinn trail gained notoriety as the City of Port Moody mulled the idea of extending the east-west running David Avenue through the gravel right-of-way that doubles as the final third of the trail.
